The Switch 2 19.0.0 system-version was shipped with launch-day retail systems.
A number of functionality throws a sysupdate message (this is with no Internet configured):
- Nintendo Switch Online, GameChat, News, eShop, GameShare, Virtual Game Cards. Album and Controllers are accessible.
- Nintendo Switch gamecards' icon/etc load, however launching requires sysupdate.
- The
Software Update->Match Version with Local Usersfeature requires sysupdate (via a S1-gamecard at least). - Data Management -> Transfer Your Save Data
